Undisciplined negative doubles, undisciplined weak 2s (frequently 5 cards), passed forcing bids, unable to add points between partners opening bids and robot hand resulting in missed lay down games and slams. Very frustrating.
The shark bridge game has some frustrating bidding practices. For example I over called a 1 nt opener with a 2 Heart bid. My computer partner bid 2 spades. What does this mean? In my world that means he would rather play a part score in spades rather than hearts. He only had 2 of them! He did have 2 5 card minors though.
Excellent bridge program and very easy to use
I love the daily tournaments (you have to pay about $20/yr for that), but the bidding is usually frustrating and often downright ridiculous. Its good practice, but needs improvement.
Please update!!! It doesnt allow to set minimal open bidding point in the way that ACBL suggests. LTC could be an option not the unique parameter in order to open!
Super
The first time I logged on, there was one other player online; the second, there were two. How is it possible for a free game app to have no players online?
Its fun! And its bridge! This is the best bridge game Ive found, by far.
Very well-executed with nice looking interface. Love the Daily Tournament of 16 duplicate boards. Excellent customer support.
An excellent computer bridge game. Very intuitive play makes this an outstanding bridge computer game played on my IPad.
Simple and easy interface, very intuitive. Very good AI on bots
My new favorite bridge program. Shark Bridge is beautiful, fast, full of features and well supported. The computer plays a good game at the next to highest level. The double dummy is fast and interesting, as double dummy always is. I really like the ability to play hands from recent tournaments. I have not played online. The available conventions are good, but more are needed.
It has been years since I played. My mom was a tournament bridge director and I was a scorer at some tournaments and got to meet Goren and other greats. This app is fun and helps Bring back the basics of bidding and playing
Nice layout. But not ready for the duplicate bridge player because of the missing bidding conventions, especially in the American market. On the right trajectory to beat iBridgeBaron.
An excellent app to practice with. Many customizable features.
Nicely laid out but the same games come up over and over. Great for beginners.
For beginners, this is probably the best bridge app. It would be even better with tips for the next card to play for absolute beginners.
While Im not a great bridge player Ive played for years and know the basics. If I open 2 of a suit, partner, robot or not, should not pass! Youre playing duplicate bridge in the daily tournaments so you can compare with others. You wonder how some reached their bids with their "tin head" partners. But, if you can keep your temper, its fun.
It could be good, but the "random" deal repeat themselves almost instantly. Robots dont play terrible but are pretty limited. I would never think of purchasing it.
